Speaking Topics
Addresses that move
boards to act.
Each topic is drawn from decades of direct operational experience — not theory. Francis speaks from the room where the decisions were actually made.
Governance & Risk
No Safe Perimeter: Risk Governance for the Modern Board
The era of perimeter-based security thinking — in physical, digital, and institutional terms — is over. This address reframes how boards should conceptualize, allocate, and own risk across the enterprise in an age of cascading uncertainty.
Leadership & Legacy
Power Is Not Yours: What Leaders Owe the Institutions They Lead
A rigorous examination of the difference between holding power and exercising it with integrity. Drawing on African philosophy, international experience, and hard cases from the public and private sectors, this address resets how executives think about their mandate.
AI & The Future of Work
The Authorship Paradox: AI, Human Judgment, and Who Owns the Output
AI is reshaping every knowledge workflow inside your organization. This address confronts the governance, ethical, and accountability questions boards are not yet asking — before those questions become crises.
Africa & Global Strategy
The African Century: What the Boardroom Must Understand Now
A frank strategic briefing on Africa's political economy, security landscape, and opportunity terrain — for executives making decisions about investment, operations, and partnerships on the continent. Built on forty years of lived and professional engagement.
Accountability & History
Lest We Forget: Why Corporate Memory Is a Governance Asset
Institutions that do not reckon honestly with their own histories repeat their worst decisions. This address connects historical accountability to current governance practice — and challenges boards to model the institutional courage they expect of others.

Francis O. Nmeribe
FIMC · FNIIS · Author · Executive Coach · Security Governance Consultant
Francis Onyebueze Nmeribe spent twenty-one years in the Nigerian government, rising to Chief Security Intelligence Officer before transitioning into international security management roles spanning three continents. He subsequently founded AFRISECURE, LLC, a security governance and consulting firm, and has since served as an executive coach and keynote speaker to senior leaders across the public and private sectors.
He is the author of a growing body of work across security governance, African political history, Igbo philosophy, and leadership — part of a lifelong commitment to writing one hundred books. His newsletter, Lest We Forget, carries the tagline Because we are involved — a deliberate echo of John Donne, refracted through the voice of Ojukwu, and applied to the collective responsibilities of leadership.
Francis served as Mission President of the Nigeria Enugu Mission (2016–2019), an appointment that deepened his formation in servant leadership, organizational governance, and cross-cultural communication. He brings all of this to the stage — not as biography, but as substance.
